About E-MU
E-MU was founded in 1971 by Scott Wedge and Dave Rossum. They produced modular synthesizers and in 1973, they created the digital scanning keyboard and with Solid State Microtechnologies developed several synthesizer module IC chips, that were used by both E-MU and many other synthesizer companies. They also design, manufacture and market audio/MIDI interfaces, software instruments and USB/MIDI controllers.
